Just last week, my friend's PC crashed apparently due to it being infected by a virus. Valuable information was lost. She didn't have a backup copy so it was upsetting for her.
The Internet is an amazing tool that provides a great source of information. What's not so amazing is the presence of viruses, worms and such resulting in our system crashing and subequently the loss of important information. Come to think of it, surfing the Net is a rather risky affair as we do not know what lurks in there that's why a reliable copy of an antivirus software is a must. No doubt about it.
