Sunset over Kuala Lumpur

KL has been experiencing hot days the past week or so. Not only the days are hot and humid, even the nights are so. Yesterday evening, I noticed a reddish-orange hue across the sky and saw that the sun was like a salted-egg yolk so I took some pictures to capture the moment and its beauty. Below are two shots taken almost immediately one after another. The twin peaks in the lower picture are the Petronas Twin Towers and to their left, the Kuala Lumpur Tower.

  2. Did you wear sun glasses? If you didn't, your eyes were at risk.

  4. KS, thanks for the thought. Come to think of it, I had no protective eyewear on but had the protection of the tinted glass. Would that help, some?

  5. Those are wild pics! The bottom one, with the Petronas Towers in view, looks particularly eerie...almost like a landscape shot from a sci-fi movie!

  6. MM, LOL about reference to a sci-fi movie. Come to think of it, I thought nothing of these shots until you highlighted how wild they are. That's our evening sky for you.
